Mindy Mar, D.C.

Dr. Mindy Mar received her doctorate degree from Southern California University of Health Sciences in 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science degree from Arizona State University in 1997 majoring in exercise science with a concentration on athletic training. Dr. Mar is currently enrolled in the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians program to obtain her diplomate in sports medicine.

In 2007, Dr. Mar was selected as the team chiropractor, physiologist and game day treating doctor for the San Diego Charger Girls and continues her role with the Chargers organization and e2k Productions to date. She also served as the team chiropractor and physiologist for the BMW ORACLE Racing team who competed and won the 33rd America’s Cup match in Valencia Spain. Dr. Mar is a certified Endermologist and has also taken post-graduate coursework on animal chiropractic and rehab.

Dr. Mar's professional services include chiropractic adjustments, physical rehab for neuromusculoskeletal injuries; postural re-education exercises; orthopedics, osteopathic techniques for headaches and TMJ pain; pre and post-operative therapy, and cellulite reduction treatments. Dr. Mar specializes in injury prevention and connective tissue rehab with sports medicine treatments such as Graston Technique®, Kinesio-taping®, Active Release Technique®, Endermologie® and physiotherapy modalities.

Dr. Mar has served as an executive director for the San Diego International Sport Council and was affiliated with Urban Housing Partners and the Downtown Residential Marketing Alliance as a marketing coordinator for five years. Dr. Mar writes a monthly astrology column for 944 Magazine and authors a monthly blog for www.heatherblaise.com which focuses on mental toughness and training. Her future goal is to establish the M.A.R. Foundation (Mar Animal Rescue) to promote local and nationwide awareness on animal rights and rescue.
